I'm kind of a big deal

Turns out I'll be covering Cannes over at Matt Zoller Seitz's Keith Uhlich's The House Next Door. I'll still try to post some more personal or journal-type writing here, but much of my critical coverage from the festival will be cross-posted here from there. But honestly, you should probably just read it over there; they deserve the traffic way more than I do.

Coverage should start with a pre-lim article a day or two before the festival starts.

You've ALWAYS been a big deal to us!! I can't wait to read about everything you get to see. I still think, if we had REALLY tried, your Mother and I could have hidden ourselves in your luggage! And WHO could possibly have more fun there (over the age of 30) than your Mother and me??? MJ Hollister

Great, the adults have found it. Now I can't swear on here.

Just kidding. I appreciate the comment. Not sure you would have fit in the luggage, though. I had a hard enough time stuffing it in the overhead slot with just my stuff inside.

We're very small. OK, your Mom's very small. But I fold.
